How’d you first come to work in the field of Dermatology?

I have always been passionate about the field of Cosmetics. I had the pleasure and opportunity to work within the field of Plastic Surgery prior to my Physician Assistant studies. With my background in Plastic Surgery, I have been fortunate to contribute my talents to both the Cirillo Center for Plastic Surgery and the Cirillo Cosmetic Dermatology Spa. The fields of Plastic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology are very closely related so I am constantly utilizing my past training and experiences to help my clinical practice in Cosmetic Dermatology.

What’s the best thing about your job?

My job truly has a lot of “bests.” As a Physician Assistant in the Cosmetic Dermatology specialty, I find it very gratifying to help a patient address a concern and, ultimately, feel better about him or herself; I feel very fortunate that my patients trust me to provide this type of care!

I also love that the cosmetic dermatology industry is very progressive and continually evolving. We are constantly able to offer new technologies and techniques to our patients!

I have been blessed to work with a great team of colleagues and mentors here at the Cirillo Institute. I learn something new and feel very challenged every day in practice!

Anything else you’d like people to know about you?

My wonderful husband and I just celebrated 2 years of marriage and we just welcomed out first baby into the world in April.
