I love many typical dishes from my home country Colombia, which I cook often. There is also a variety of seafood like paella, or scallops with a good salad . Not a big fan of spicy or fast food.
I go to the gym three times a week and enjoy dancing classes, spinning, yoga and sauna. Skiing on the weekends with my son and husband. I also participate in a weekly book club with an inspiring group of women from my church.
Why did you become an Aesthetician?
I grew up in a culture where self care was part of wellness. This meant good nutrition, daily exercise routines and skin care. As i was finishing my degree in business, I noticed many women struggling with finding a balance in setting aside time for themselves. It is here when my heart took a different direction. I develop a passion to help and educate women find simple but powerful ways to maintain healthy skin. I received my education as a Medical Esthetician and have not look back since.
What do you do to unwind and take care of yourself after a busy day?
I try to start and finish my day with a quiet moment to thank my creator for the day given. This keeps me grounded, specially on those difficult days. I also love spending time with my whole bunch -my husband, twelve year old boy, my three chickens and my furry friend. From Sharing about our day, to feeding my birds or playing with my dog makes up for a good day.
